The Mill Restaurant is housed in one of Stone's most historic buildings - the mill in which 'Stoney' Smith invented the wholeground flour that was the beginnings of Hovis bread. And the Grade 1 listed building and mill workings create a fantastic atmoshere in which to enjoy superb cuisine with a Portuguese influence.
The five bedroom hotel provides luxurious modern accommodation.
And you can find Jose and his family at Stone Farmers' Market on the first Saturday of every month selling mouth watering home cooked delicacies including his famous custard tart!

A good, old fashioned, traditional corner pub which is featured in the 2011 CAMRA Guide Beer Guide. Marston's Pedigree and Wye Valley HPA are always available plus occasional guest beers. No juke box or gaming machines - just good beer and an excellent landlord! Darts and dominoes teams play during the week. A small beer garden at rear. |
