Learn

Foodies with a hunger for knowledge will be delighted by the opportunities on offer at the Stone Food & Drink festival. In the demonstration kitchen top local chefs give live cookery demonstrations on the hour, every hour; and the Mercedes Benz of Stafford ‘Talks & Tastings Tent’ features a programme packed with fascinating presentations from our exhibitors.  we are delighted to offer live Cookery Masterclasses for adults (advance booking essential), while youngsters can sign up for free kids’ cookery classes on Saturday and Sunday.

Eat

From local delicacy the Staffordshire Oatcake, through to gourmet burgers, pork baps and stalls selling global food from as far afield as the Caribbean, Lahore and Thailand to name just a few; there’s plenty of choice when you’ve worked up an appetite at the festival. For those looking for a more formal dining experience, there are a range of sit-down options available including gourmet three-course lunches in the ‘Pop up in the Park’ restaurant, delicious light lunches and afternoon teas.

Drink

Stone’s proud history as a brewing town will be celebrated as Staffordshire breweries including Stone’s very own Lymestone Brewery, Slater’s Ales, Peakstone Ridge Brewery, Titanic Brewry and Freedom Ales all gather in the Staffordshire Beer Tent to offer their wares, with the adjacent live music stage ensuring this will be 'party central'.

Wine producers and merchants are also out in force; with elegant cocktail and champagne bars serving a range of delectable tipples while there are plenty of stalls offering teas ranging from basic ‘builders’ through to exotic blends and fine continental coffees.

Cookery Masterclasses

Visitors can hone their  cookery skills in the festival's very own ‘Cookery Classroom’, - learn how to create authentic Indian dishes from scratch with iCookIndian or hone your cake decorating skills with local cake artist Beth Lauren.

Please note courses will be subject to additional charge - full details & online booking options here >
