With the Stone Food & Drink Festival now just 3 months away, food and drink fans are urged to keep the weekend of Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October clear in their calendar.
At the Stone Food and Drink Festival you will find a host of exhibitors, all hand-picked for the exceptional quality of their produce.
From cheeses to meat to veg, preserves, chutneys, pies, pastries, breads, olives, kitchen wares, cakes, sweets, beer, wine, cider – in fact there’s just too much variety to list them all here – you will find delicious food and drink hailing from the UK and further afield.
Whilst Staffordshire’s local food heroes are well represented in the Taste of Staffordshire Marquee, exhibitors travel from far and wide to attend what has become a real ‘red letter day’ in the foodie calendar. Alongside food to buy and cook at home you’ll find a great selection of food to eat ‘on the go’ – raging from local delicacy the Staffordshire Oatcake to gourmet burgers, pork baps and exotic street food from around the world.
Those looking for a more refined dining experience will be spoilt for choice as pop-up restaurants offer everything from gourmet three-course lunches to refreshing salads and classic English afternoon teas.
Drink is just as prevelant as food at the festival; with Staffordshire brewers out in force and the Titanic Beer Festival – with its great live music – the event’s ‘party central’. Elsewhere you’ll find everything from fruit wines to ciders, liqueurs and even cocktails, fine wine and bubbly by the glass served from elegant bars.
