Farmers' Market
The Farmers' market is one of the real success stories of the Stone Food and Drink Festival! It proved so popular in 2005, the first year it was held as part of the festival, that it has become a monthly event; taking place on the first Saturday of every month (except January) and has evolved into what is broadly considered Staffordshire's biggest and best Farmers' market. Each month, over fifty stalls selling the very best in local produce attracts a loyal following.
The monthly Farmers' Markets are held on the first Saturday of every month (except January) starting at 9.00am - but get there early as several stalls have been known to be sold out by lunchtime! The market is held in the Market Square and down the the High Street.
The Farmers' Market remains a central attraction of Stone Food and Drink Festival, when it takes place on both the Friday and Saturday, and sees over 60 stalls line the High Street.
Please note that Stone Farmers' Market is managed by Stafford Borough Council. All trade enquiries should be directed to Bev Allerton, St. John's Market, Earl Street, Stafford ST16 2DF. Telephone 01785 245935.
