Fun for the whole family at this year’s Stone Food & Drink Festival
While the annual Stone Food & Drink Festival has always welcomed visitors of all ages, with free admission for accompanied under-16s to the main festival site on Westbridge Park, this year younger food fans will have even more to look forward to.
In addition to kiddies’ rides, fun cookery demonstrations, live music and a host of opportunities to taste new and exciting foods, this year’s festival, which will take place over the weekend of Friday, 30th September – Sunday, 2nd October will also feature a fun Treasure Trail event for the whole family to enjoy.
The Trail will be organised by Treasure Trails Staffordshire, which works closely with Destination Staffordshire to promote this wonderful county and all its riches. As part of the Trail, you’ll be encouraged to explore the stalls and discover a world of delights for your tastebuds while, at the same time, using the Trail to find the secret locations throughout the show, solve the clues and then submit your solution to enter a draw for some fantastic prizes.
Festival Chairman, Richard Stevens, says:
“We pride the Stone Food and Drink Festival on being a true community event, and we’re delighted that Treasure Trails Staffordshire is coming on board this year to help make the event even more fulfilling for our younger visitors. It’s always great to see children at the festival and do our bit to encourage the next generation of foodies to develop their tastebuds and learn the importance of supporting local producers, and the Treasure Trail offers a great new dimension that promises to be both educational and fun – the fact that there is the chance to win some great prizes is a bonus!”
