Parking

Park and Ride

This year we are once again operating a Park and Ride system, by kind permission of the Aston Marina Farm Shop and Bistro on the A51 Rugeley road just south of the town. The Park and Ride will be prominently sign posted by yellow direction signs from all major roads approaching Stone. The bus journey to the town centre will take less than ten minutes. All visitors are strongly recommended to use this facility.

Public Car Parks

There are several public Car Parks in the town of Stone but these are bound to be extremely busy. Visitors are strongly recommended to use the Park and Ride car park at Aston Marina (see above).

Pay and Display parking is available on Westbridge Park close to the Gourmet Food Marquee (short and long stay); Short stay parking is also available in Crown Street and off  Christchurch Way. Follow the blue 'P' signs. The Co-op Food and Morrisons supermarkets provide car parking subject to payment and conditions.

Limited free car parking is provided by Stone Town Council on the Wharf car park (off Crown Street just passed Canal Cruisers premises) and off Northesk Street.

By prior arrangement, parties arriving by minibus are welcome to park on the Crown and Anchor's car park off Newcastle Street - please contact Will Moorcroft on 01785 813720.
